Fashion lovers get in like Lindy Klim for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney

From Target to Dion Lee II, there’s something for everyone and every occasion.

One of the guests to be sat front row is model and socialite Lindy Klim. And while there’s no disputing the Balinese princess has style, it’s thanks to the killer Australian threads she often sports that she’s become a frontrunner in the fashion stakes.

Klim is fast becoming a lady to watch, and while she has access to brands from all around the world, it’s Australian designers she enlists to make her mark.

“When I am in New York, I don’t even go shopping there because I love the brands in Australia and if I want something from overseas, I just go online,” Klim said. “I know we are a long way away from the rest of the world but we have some amazing talent here and they are most definitely making their mark overseas.

“Most of the designers have a great nature and don’t have that pretentious side that some designers have so they are really respected overseas.”

A close friend of the Mercedes-Benz brand, fashion icon and model, Klim will join the likes of The X Factor’s Dannii Minogue, models Rachael Finch and Zac and Jordan Stenmark, and singer Samantha Jade at tonight’s event, which will showcase more than 60 leading Australian fashion labels.

The open-to-the-public event, at Sydney Town Hall, will give fashion lovers unprecedented front row access to leading Spring/Summer 14/15 and Resort collections by designers including Alex Perry, Camilla, Dion Lee II and Romance Was Born, straight off the Fashion Week Australia runway.
