TV Land Icon Awards 2016 Red Carpet Arrivals: See All the Stars Celebrating the Very Best of Entertainment

Turns out Sunday is a big night for award shows!

The 2016 MTV Movie Awards may be airing, but it won't be taking away from all the glitz and glamour at the TV Land Icon Awards in celebration with Entertainment Weekly.

Held at the Santa Monica Airport, the award show honors and pays tribute to the very best of television and entertainment.

Set to air next Sunday at 9 p.m., this year's show gives kudos to two huge players in showbiz. Iconic (fitting) TV creator and three-time Emmy winner Norman Lear will be receiving the Impact Icon Award, an honor given to stars who have had a huge impact in American entertainment and culture. (Think All in the Family, Good Times, The Jeffersons)

In addition, ageless actor and pop culture icon John Stamoswill receive the Timeless Icon Award, which praises entertainers "whose extraordinary work spans generations."
