Prom dress show at West Seneca High School

West Seneca West’s ninth grade class hosted a Prom and Homecoming Dress Fashion Show and Sale on Wednesday night.

The fashion show advertised many of the hundreds of prom dresses the class received in donations. Local stores and people within the school district donated their gently used and brand new dresses to sell at the event.

A $2 admission fee, the dresses and the donated food all went together to raise money for a good cause.

“There is a boy at West Middle that has cancer and some of the money is going to him and the rest of the money is going to our freshman class,” said Colleen O’Connor, the freshman class advisor.

At the end of the night, the dresses went up for sale, with a few being sold at a silent auction. The remaining prom dresses uk will be available for purchase at an event at the school this Friday.
